Email Marketing Tip The Help Authority Up Selling

Turning your efforts into profits
What makes email great for the shy person like Logic is that you do not have to have a conversation be it by telephone or in person so unlike with a face to face with email you can ask the person receiving your email requesting this and requesting that, we call this a “Call To Action” a term in the email marketing industry known as a Triggered Response Up Selling through an automated email reciept.
Trust and Relation Building
Earn trust, build some level of relationship with your customers before you just inundate them with buy this, try this, go to this or that and etc. We are going to ask for them to take an action soon, do not worry nothing in life is free, so people you have had delaings with receiving an email from you understand that.
Triggered Response
Lets look at your current customers, when they buy something from you, registered to receive future emails from you on your web site, downloaded an informative paper from you like an instruction manual or how to instructions, signed up to attend an event, send a customer service or support email or even the customer began to make a purchase from your online store but did not complete the steps of the process do you have an automated response message for each of these areas of your web site. You should you are being given an opportunity to place your name, your brand and a reason to interact with customers both current and from the past for each auto response they trigger from your site.
Up Selling with auto responses
These automated responses are the best way to stay in touch of course but when the customer takes an action with your web site they initiated a purpose and reason for you to have extra offerings, helpful hints and ideas for holiday’s etc. built into your auto responses to help increase sells, after all they are a customer they created an activity with your site and are very willing to receive additional emails from you pertaining to that activity.

Which Internet sites are you a member of?
Logic has signed up for more then 100 forums and social sites over the past 3 years and what we have to report today is similar to what is happening to most of those blogs out in the blogosphere, they are failing or losing their popularity.
What gets to Logic
We have seen the natural behavior of humans over the past few decades and it is when the going gets tough, like the current global economy is going through, a healthy yet sometimes painful correction that is placing most humans back into a world of reality is that people stop applying their efforts to the tools that are on the Internet to help them.
The people that build and manage forums, social networks, sites and blogs seem to give up, walk away or just stop participating in them when actually these tough times are when you want to work even harder at maintaining your online image, participation and Internet presence.
Logic Wisdom
We all need to account for our efforts making sure that we are actually producing results and not just being busy to be busy.
Who survives in tough economies?
This is great encouraging news for the survivors are the focused and diehard builders and maintainers of these sites and these hard workers know that the audience that is out on the Internet will find each of us, just that much easier.
Every time another domain name does not get renewed, a site hosting bill does not get paid, the owner pulls the plug or the owner just gives up, instead moving on to what ever they like, so long as they clear the way for Logic to gain traction who really cares? Right.
A look at active blogs
Though mind you at a slower pace, a trip to any blog directory with a search under your favorite topic and a click on some twenty to thirty or so blogs will reveal that if the site is still up it might not be active meaning the last post date has pasted some time back or it might not even be on the Internet anymore or it might have been converted to a (PPC) pay per click site.
A look at forums
Similar to the blogs you can first see if the forums you enjoy are even on the Internet anymore check the last posting date number of current members and visitors online towards the bottom of the forum.
A look at social networks
We are not talking about the highly publicized large funded people networks the ones like myspace, youtube or facebook but rather the rest of the not so hyped Web 2.0 media outlets.
Logic would love to work hard and become as well known as one of those great sites.
Social Networks are easy to check in on; first we go log-in to our profile then check to see how many friends are online at the time.
How we do this is we have hundreds in a few cases thousands of online friends. Reminder to us all because online friends are not real friends they are actually acquaintances, friends require and disserve more effort and trust building then a simple click or request to be someone’s friend.
We go to our account view active friends online and what used to be hundreds or more has dwindled to a few, sometimes none meaning the social network is dead or lacking traffic.
How Logic checks in on these 3 online profile areas
First we have them saved in our favorites and next we check them weekly to first see if the site is online anymore and then the details for each as mentioned above.
Final thoughts about Internet profiles
Interactive sites are great, they are a partial launching pad to your success but these mediums require a lot of your time and Logic writes a lot on the Logic Talk Blog about a simple practical reminder, time is money, spend it wisely.
How we feel about forums
With forums they became a continuous repeat of people wanting to type instead of researching the forums, or they are from third world nations trying to get attention/promote their offerings either way they re always asking the same questions or providing the same answers over and over again making this worst use of your time.
This lesson taught Logic a better way to help us manage our two forums, BeachForum.com and DesertForum.com to be sure the information they provide visitors and members works to help them accurately. We further discovered that when it comes to promoting your own forums it is more fun and oh yah, rewarding and that having your own forums offers better search engine assistance to our other profitable products and services.
Logic does not have much to say about those Twitter or Digg sites they are ok and in fact we submit our most important releases to Digg but Twitter Logic does not get it. What I have is a profile and three friends that share what they are doing now and what they did and hour ago and what they might do tomorrow for them Logic says really WOW, get a life or a job which ever comes first.
Logic’s dig about Digg
A reminder or tip about submitting to Digg in our opinion, if you are not sharing a story about gossip, employee or investment scandals, movie or music stars, pot smoking swimmers or pink Bentleys etc.
We feel you are out of luck utilizing Digg, that is because that is what has become of that type of medium due to reader generated demand and this type of article, image and video site is no place for real businesses to gain traction or traffic with your products or services.
Here is the silver lining
We are Viper Logic operators of 1 blog, this one that is nearing only its first year in operation.
The blog clearly it is a venting shaft for our business, to see light at the end of the tunnel and this blogging thing, it truly works our Email Marketing service Viper Mailer is living proof, it is our number one best selling product created to help businesses make money and gain market share.
We use this blog to share our thoughts on the economy and life at Logics Bla Bla Blog, we promote our portfolio of domain names for Viper Names under Domain Name Investing and finally we use to introduce each California city one at a time a part of California Weather Authority an in-work project under California Authority.
Life is good
We enjoy our blog, our forums and community weather information sites but what we really enjoy is that Logic likes that these tools actually take on a life of their own and introduce us to people we would other wise never be afforded the opportunity to know.
