Some Interesting facts about Blue Lake, California.
In search of water? we were when we discovered that the Blue Lake in Blue Lake city does not have a lake anymore in fact there used to be a lake because the city is located in the Mad River Valley and in the very early days the river used to flood overflow then created a lake in the cites lowlands but today when it is rainy season they receive less then 1 acre of water into the old blue lake.

The city and the county of Humboldt are located nearer the Oregon State line with only the smaller county of Del Norte and the city is just inland off of the northern Pacific Ocean coastline of California.

What to do in and around Blue Lake, California.
This area Blue Lake does not have a lot to offer other then a place or two to stay a Cafe however if you are looking for fish the city is considered the gateway to the Mad River Fish Hatchery located only two miles out of town.

From here there is Eureka and the Pacific Ocean in fact Eureka offers the Humboldt Bay as well there are great Victorian homes and businesses to explore.

Down Economy Positive Results

Good does come from tough times
Not your usual statement of “Well I Got My Health” type of thinking but rather what you can observe taking place in towns all across America even though this story is good as a global example however we focus our views about positive events in America during an economic downtown on what we see for ourselves and not even what the press preaches at us in the print and television industries.

How we monitor the positives during tough times
First we start by not living in the comfort zone of a glass bubble, so by trying to visit new locations and entering different places was a great good start for us because most people live in their comfort zone like driving the same way to work everyday or eating at the same restaurant everyday types of comfort zones.

Then of course there is the high net worth set of American’s that live to far removed from main street America again (not mentioning any names we know some) a type of comfort zone that expresses to us that facing the realities of the real world might prove tougher then they think so they do not venture outside for the most part and we are not talking about traveling in this article at all in fact we actually believe to travel usually on a set schedule though no doubt to different locations non the less it is to go again to a place far removed from reality and an expression of running away from reality.

Logic your writer is not perfect
There is not a thing wrong with doing all of the above but you cannot run a company or manage a family if you are kept sheltered from the reality of main street America approach and of course not to sound like some pre medonna we actually work all 7 days a week never travel and vacations why would we leave what you are truly passionate about your creative work, so you could say that work is our comfort zone and in fact you might even conclude that we could learn to work smarter and not harder so we would not work these hours and day each week for over 15 years now.

Even Logic sometimes is to critical on children and young adults
In the past Logic has bagged on carbon footprint builders (parents that produce children) about how they are to involved with their children’s or young adults friends, college, work and social doings leaving the child with no freedom to explore learn and get into trouble but even this writer was set a back recently over a new phenomenon that we have not seen since pre 1990 and that is young adults going out in record numbers looking for work and in many cases their first time. We see record movie industry box office sales and we have persons nation wide that work for the Fortune 500 food producing fresh and frozen that are in the delivery side of the companies sharing with us record month over month same route sells meaning that more American’s are eating at home.

Who cares who is doing this or going there
We all should because this is the positive thing about an economic downturn and we have in our articles discussed this a few time but only really touching on the edge while writing other non related subject matters.

Welcome to the return of back to basics, back to values
Look Logic might not have any children however Logic stands for Family Values and when for many children the last economic downturn a small one in comparison to the current one in our opinion were to young to know or even ask for 200.00 jeans, 800 game stations or 400.00 MP-3 devices but when they became old enough they asked for and usually always received what they asked for and you know why not but this story we have told now three prior times.

Young First Time Job Seekers
We see young adults showing up at a lot of businesses, job fairs and hear they are looking online increasingly as well trying to find jobs and this is the second best thing to come out of these tougher times and we applaud them for this.

Maybe they are out because their parents are using a nasty word these children and young adults have not heard since they were old enough to talk the dreaded “NO” word and little do these parents know this economic downturn gets most of the credit for the forced to now use the “No” word either way this is a great positive.

The Return of Family Dinners at Home
No now before you say Logic is to old fashion and cannot be saying that we are going to actually return to sitting around the dinner table as a whole family actually having conversations with the television off and text message devices in the children’s rooms during dinner but none the less fresh and pre prepared meals like even frozen pizzas are really on the rise meaning more people are staying at home and this is a positive step in the right direction to the returning of family as a unit besides we read and we ask so many people how their favorite restaurants are doing and along worth the tips being down we find that restaurants are raising their prices, cutting out the expensive ingredients, lowering the quality of the meat cuts.

Family survival and strength builder
Perhaps a family can eat a great dinner again around the table as a unit then go to the movies nd see the same movie yah i know all members of the family agree to see the same movie together but if they do the next night for dinner they can all talk about the movie as a unit.

Television Reality Series Idea
This just adds to a great reason for more families to eat at home and control the costs, see the quality they are buying maybe there should be a show featuring pizzas and turkey pot pies called Pimp my Pie or Pimp my Pizza as a tribute to the return to eating as a family at home.

See or a least we hope you are reading this because Logic is very excited to see all of these events in family as a unit occurring and to tell you the truth down economies might even through little to know choice cause marriages to hold together as well in no small part being and sharing as a family could lend more cause at to why more effort could and should be applied to holding marriages together.

The city was incorporated in may 1903.
The city is located in Northern California.

Some Interesting facts about Bishop, California.
Located in Inyo County the second largest county in California but with a very small population and the city is located in the Owens Valley low deepest valley in the USA so the valley and the city of Bishop sites in between the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range and the White Mountains. There is a creek Bishop Creek that water from the Sierra Nevada Mountains flows down in through the owens Valley.

The city a community of locals and passer bys is a rock climbers paradise truly so because of where it is located and all of the mountains and rock formations throughout the area.

Things to do in and around Bishop, California.
Bishop is for the explorer into the great outdoors and it is great for fresh crisp air they offer the ability to explore, they offer hiking in the Bishop Creek Canyon featuring a dozen various hikes and hiking levels but if you are not ready for all of that walking and you can handle a but of a rough ride into the Coyote Flat for four wheel drive high clearance vehicles and (ATV’s) All Terrain Vehicles and mountain bikes even the Owens River is great fishing explore Volcanic Tablelands and a whole lot more a true adventurous experience so please read about all of their great outdoor activities here Bishop Hiking, Fishing Exploring and Mountain Climbing.

The city does have one other really unique thing to do in their city or rather from their city it is to go Motor Touring and they offer a map from the Bishop Area Chamber of Commerce at 690 North Main Street that they say have secret scenic roads and locations to venture off and explore by vehicle a neat experience indeed.

The bishop Laws Railroad Museum and Historic Site is a very early California piece of history while you are in town it features California early everything and there is an extensive collection of train equipment and trains of course.
