When will I understand I get what I pay for

Logic belongs to over 40 FREE online forums for web masters, marketing and domain names and after spending a portion of the day building our back links (back-links are an active keyword or words link that take the visitor via the blue underlined link to the URL Internet site you represent) through the signature in each topic I add or each post I make on forums. I have come to the realization that you get what you pay for which for most all forums is “0” dollars. As and active member I read and learn as well as to reply to topics where I can be of some benefit to the person asking various questions.

Reflecting back signature links might bring a little strength to our email marketing software product however what Logic could do is just buy a high ranking Internet profile site offering advertising space at a fixed price on a monthly bases and wipe out all of the time and efforts for building a solid signature linking system. Signature links are a small part of the complex SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing) process.

It takes a lot of time and great effort from my normal work to add to topics on forums and agian with a forum like with a free anything for example like some free blog services you are never in control of your future and the operators offering these free services to you and I basically put us at the Mercy of the operators.

When you join a free forum like the two non technical ones we operate here Palm Springs Discussion and here California Beach Discussion in order to participate and not just be a forum reader you need to first become a member by signing up selecting a handle like mine is Logic on all forums then you can even upload a picture or an avatar like Logic is an avatar then proceed to read, learn and post questions in the available topics.

How you decide what type of forum you are interested in like Catnip is a vintage watch repair and watch collector all as a hobby for him from his regular job of being the (CTO) Chief Technology Officer here at Viper Logic. You might not be aware that their is a topic for anything you can imagine like our two above where one forum is for those that love the beach and the other is for those that love the California Desert so people that like either of these two forums can meet, share, hook up with others that share these same interests.

If you are not a member of a forum today you will find forums to be fun and informative. Being an operator of a few forums and members of 40 forums is a great way to be involved in the topics that interest us all.

Why professional forums should be a paid service
We have been active members of forums since 2006 and have to share what we have learned about forums with you and why we discovered why the forums for professional forums like web site forums or watch maker forums need to have a fee to allow you to participate in them.

Why are people running forums for FREE
Nothing is free in life and I hope I finally learned my lesson because forum operators run their forums providing a service for you and I to connect and to share our common interests however they are not independently wealthy persons trying to be nice they are actually either offering the other services or products they own, they can build up a large amount of members and sell the forum easily for millions of dollars or they are running those not to successful (In My Opinion) PPC (Pay Per Click) advertisements that generate a modest amount of income for the forum operator.

We have nothing against the reasons to have a forum at all they are great for making friends and Logic remembers first joining them however they can only get you and I so far so clearly they are no longer of any use to us and the new available time would be better spent doing something else.

Logic is giving up on most non paid forums
Forums are a great place to discuss things of interest in and organized format as most forums are great at offering and there are rules, lots of rules and site moderators that are policing the sites for the operators protecting all members from time to time warning or banning people that violate some of the rules and Logic will be the first to share we have had to ban users once in the while for a period of time because they offended another member or they posted a non relevant reply to a topic or they placed an advertisement for something or another on one of the two forums we operate.

So you can see rules are a great thing and even if you are a member of a paid forum and we can share that the operators are policing the forum as moderators but they are just not needed as often especially in the area of posting to just be posting and in the area of spamming the forum which is the same as posting an advertisement.

Logic is tired of the same 10 or 20 questions being posted on the 40+ technical, domain name and marketing forums everyday all because these people those free members are eager to post a topic more then to read what is already posted and posted and posted about the same topic. The quality of the type of Quote Webmasters has truly came down due to the what easily appears to be a great way to make a couple of dollars.

Time is very important and time is money if we as humans are worth anything at all we need to realize the most precious commodity we are all given, though not equally is the gift of time. So spend it wisely like Logic is now going to do by firing these free time consuming professional forums.
