We all are aware of the discovery of America but we might not be aware of the discoveries of later Americans.

Discoveries within discoveries
It took a trip from Christopher Columbus and more importantly his brave ship builders and crewto find out the earth was not flat but round, it took centuries beyond Christopher Columbus to discover that the earth was not round it was an oval.

Logic has an idol Howard Robard Hughes
Aviator and pioneer of aviation yes but also Mr. Hughes did more for the world then any billionaire since him thus far.

Howard Hughes is the peak of greatness for discovery into commercial aircraft, reviving the helicopter, satellites in commercialization of space and the leader of one of the world’s finest aviation companies on earth Hughes Aircraft Corporation.

Good was not good enough for Mr. Hughes
All of these great inventions including the electric hospital bed (designed by Howard himself) are the past and one place Mr. Hughes and his name sake live on from a charitable fund (an endowment) he arranged in the early years as a tax loop, today is one of the worlds wealthiest and most powerful medical institutions in the world.

I will change the world said Howard Hughes
All of these achievements an icon were born out of a great company to start with the Hughes Tool Company. Howard Hughes did not have to work another day in his life when he inherited the Hughes Tool Company (leasers of oil drilling bits) in 1924 but instead of being just another rich person without earning it Howard prevailed and strived for greatness and as the story goes, he achieved it helped others and contributed to what makes America a great place still producing great discoveries today.

Nobel Prizes 
The facilities employ more Nobel Prize recipients then any organization in the world.
Two additional Nobel Awards this year are added to the long list of Nobel Prize winners one for Chemistry and one for Physiology or Medicine. 

These 2 Nobel Prizes presented to scientists at HHMI are for effort, from hard work, collaboration and focus and winners of these awards share with us all, that through hard work not talk (Mr. Obama) they are earned through “PASSION”.

If you watch NOVA on PBS (see PBS Public Broadcasting Service) like Logic does then you know that HHMI stands for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute where well after Howard’s death continues onward making new discoveries all of the time. When I grow up I want to be?
Be a creator, be a scientist even to be well recognized as the person that never gave up on the dreams through hard work that create greatness, greatness in any field to be the single expert in whatever endeavor you study and apply your knowledge and hard work in, then just like Christopher Columbus venture outside of your safety zone and make that new discovery that will benefit the lives of others, even if that other is a single human, your best friend.

Reflections in a mirror
Through hard work and with a passion for perfection you can say “when I grow up I am going to work and study hard to be”, then look into the mirror one day, it is you, you did it, now if you have not began already, venture outside of the comfort zone take a risk and prevail to be the next great discoverer.

Logic takes off the hat
Today is a day to honor Christopher Columbus, though some feel he did evil in some of his travels and to some natives but history is what it is and for those that are not native Americans, if you do not like the newer understanding that intelligent researchers have come up with painting this great explorer of America and with many other wonderfully equal achievements Logic says this.

If one does not like America then go exploring?
America is a free country and there are no bars on the exit door preventing you from leaving to wherever you can find what you seek “perfection” he Christopher Columbus did more for us then you or I have currently.

Logic feels that we all have the ability to prosper, through education but only when that education is put to work and then only when you become the expert in the area or field you specialize in we call this the “FOCUS”.
