Before Logic begins this article it might be time to share how I truly feel about things that are a total waste of a humans time. I am not here to waste a persons time, I am actually here to better your life through educational, informative, and application of skills beyond just that of the Internet and the digital age.

IE or I.E., which is correct?

Now what is IE and what does Logic have to do with it?
It could stand for Internet Explorer thus the (IE) or it could stand for the domain name extension that is a (ccTLD) cc meaning Country Code and TLD meaning Top Level Domain. IE is the country code for Ireland.
