20 Somethings and College is over
Hello parents of future Carbon Footprint producers, Logic here and I am just kidding you about that carbon thing it was not a buzz word until the ice in our cocktails began to melt and we rewarded Al Gore with over 100 million of your dollars to have him explain the global warming thing to you and I.

Logic has produces no future Carbon Footprints
Because Logic has no children however I read a story in the Wall Street Journal this morning and thought it showed only a single side of adults returning home and how this phrase fits into the other titles Logic has herd about these 20 something generation children.
Logic is self taught (that means no college barely high school folks) and oh yes self funded and doing just fine.
See first society calls the parents (not all of them) that you are Helicopter Parents hovering over there college class discussions, mate choices, and employment interviews.

Now we are reading that college is nearing time to release them with huge college debt that put you in debt to send them, then only to return home to live with you mom and dad, only this time they are older adults with habits and independence against you.

The Wall Street Journal interviewed case studies (one sided0 about the new term for this returning home event called the “Open Nest” and how these parents welcome them back into the nest with such ridiculous thoughts as you new adult are going to pay us rent or room and board, yes I was young once and what you are going to get is the I am running short or I have not found a job and the other 30 or so common replies around the rent due date.

Wall Street Journal Reports on College Students
The paper goes on reporting from the study that this is common in fact very accepted in Europe and such borderline third worlds nation type of mentality. This is truly the biggest and most retarded (I do not have to be politically correct readers) statement I think for and excuse for that perfect new adult. Why is Logic being tough on this one. It is simple check the unemployment rates of those countries against those of anywhere you live in America and there in lies the difference.

We are no third world nation, this is America
Look this is America, we have a job for every ass within her boarders so it is high time we take a job, because for over 90 percent of college grads in the mediocre or popular titles are not going to pursue those carrier paths more then likely anyways.

Hello Mom and Dad
What is all boils down to is that the baby sitter you sent them off to, is retiring and unless the new adult is going to advance with their studies to get a masters degree, then the party time was over, oh I mean what they studied and learned while away from you and at college is returning them home with if? any to little usable skills. (It is our guess on that being the case).
If they had the skills required for a carrier position they would not be coming home to live with you would they?

Parents made college life a breeze
Now you made going to college to easy for them with cars, credit cards, and god only knows what other perks you provided and further putting most of you into debt you really could have lived without.

These adults though young are playing you mom and dad like a fiddle and you did not allow, or make them get a job during college because they had 3 to 4 days of classes to take and they complained they could not get the assignments done or whatever maybe another 30 or so excuses for this as well. Hell one being Logic would not be surprised if they bought their homework off of the Internet and keep the party alive and well? I know not your over achieving young adult, who are now returning home instead of getting a real job like building something or whatever.

Logic employs working college students today
You might even see Logic as a bad person but you know I am not.
I want each of you to have and be able to be doing the things I have been enjoying since I was 17 years old. Having the best time of my life, making money and doing what I enjoy most and in fact this blog is one of thise many great things in Logic’s life.

Logic did not start this story but there are always to sides to each story and if you like contact the writer at the Wall Street Journal because she does write great stories as a reporter but this one was something in a counter attack on the not my child or adult.

Logic stops ranting and raving
In finalizing this story I must conclude I have written very nice about your adult by referring to them from the legal stance that they are of adult age but you are boys and girls until you are out in this real world providing for yourselves and no, being off to college on mom and dads credit worthiness does not make you and adult. Being a producer and provider even if for one self makes you and adult, and only then.
As for the colleges hey remember they are a business first and foremost and they are in the business of collecting your money and convincing you and I that everyone needs a college education and you know they are right but only a few percentages of the people in college are really pursuing a specialized carrier and and advanced education is required.
