Gay Schools in American Cities

Reading the press we see the US might have 2 full Gay High Schools
Logic has thoughts about gay schools in America because I am living in the city of Palm Springs that is predominantly a gay community with a gay mayor in a same sex partnership or marriage with a pair of adopted children.

Marriage of same sex partners is legal in California so the amount of marriages in the Palm Springs, California area is of course on the rise.

Gay parents raising gay children?
Logic has a great idea for not just a gay high school but an entire and perfect Gay School District and it starts in Palm Springs, California where we can do it because the Mayor can begin the process of having the second or third gay school in the American school system. See today we read that the Harvey Milk High School in New York is the first gay high school in America and stands as the national model and now we also read that Chicago has a group of LGBTQA persons pushing for their very own gay high school, the timing could not be better for Palm Springs to make national news with an entire school district.

Neither region mentioned is truly as gay orientated as Palm Springs and hey we already have the Palm Springs Gay Associated Youth and PFlag here Gay Groups in Palm Springs as well the city of Palm Springs holds to major annual gay events that are very internationally popular with the annual Gay Parade here Palm Springs Pride Parade and the annual White Party and in fact there is an entire list of gay Palm Springs events and gathering here Gay Events in Palm Springs.

How Palm Springs can become the first total gay school district
So with all of tools in place City Council, residents groups and organizations, in our opinion Palm Springs, California is a great place to have an entire school system devoted to gay all of the way.

Gay from the first day
Why should we wait until high school think about this, we have two men or woman raising babies as couples now all over not just Palm Springs but more then likely every city in America today plenty of children to get the ball running don’t you think? and with the gay communities growing in great numbers, so we could start with kindergarten and take it all of the way through until high school graduation.

We would have no problem finding gay teachers they are everywhere in our school systems throughout America and hiring an all new gay unified school district would be easy to staff as well.

Logic’s Thoughts
This sounds like a return to segregation moving America and American’s a like back in time is a real American tragedy. When was it that ones sexual orientation was the bases for a special needs school, this would set back America 100 years in progress.
