It is really not a far stretch to understand in an Internet communications society like we all live in today that when a message arrives in our email inbox and it is directed to you with your first and or even your last name we feel more compelled to read the message.

Looking into our service offerings we only allow the client to send to a set number of groups so say you have 1000 contacts in your account and list of email contacts your account with an email service provider typically comes with the ability to have up to 5 groups however Mr. Restaurant wanted the ability to have 12 groups separating his list into 12 groups because this would allow Mr. Restaurant to have 1 group for each month of the calendar year.

Mr. Restaurant requested that without having to increase the account size to one that would cover more groups in the case of our service he would have had to increase the account size to 12,000 contacts which offers 20 groups more then enough groups to cover his 12 group or months of needs.

We reminded Mr. Restaurant that like a restaurant menu is merely a guideline of the dishes you can actually get at a restaurant so to is our price list and features. We designed our price list and features to offer a basket of variety to meet the needs that we felt would cover most service requests. To listen to a client and respond in a timely fashion is important to us and to Mr. Restaurant so we modified our plan in his account to allow for 13 groups of contacts the 12 he needs for covering each month of the year so on the first of the month every month he now sends out all of that months birthday wishes and a special birthday offering because it is their birthday month and the 13th group is where he stores a complete list of all of his contacts for his monthly specials, events, new items and other wine tasting nights or meet the chef special dining evenings for loyal customers etc.

We at Viper Mailer do really attempt to try our best to think out what someone is going to need in their account in the way of features but as we wrote about above this was a special circumstance with a really quick fix that satisfied the clients needs and Mr. Restaurant could not be happier because it did not add any cost to his marketing budget but allowed him to expand his message powers greatly.

Plans to us are really are like a menu in that it is only a guideline for the possibilities that a client can have through our services including one that came in the other day and happily this one was even easier to solve. This client we will call Mrs. Traveler has an account with us for 25,000 contacts and they send out a monthly message to their list however Mrs. Traveler advertises a lot in printed publications and television offering a contest to win a free trip for two to a special destination by going online and filling out a contest form.

So Mrs. Traveler has been gathering additional email contact because when the applicants entered the contest they checked a box to be included into the clients emailing list for future on topic offers for the prize trip destination. After about 8 months the client had an additional 55,000 contacts and realized they wanted to add these contacts into their Viper Mailer account so when they went to our pricing plans we did not offer an account size that big. We actually do but our posted plans only went up to 50,000 marketing their need 25,000 contacts short because they now had over 75,000 contacts.

Mrs. Traveler called and we explained we actually have plans covering contacts up to 1 million contacts but wanted to keep our price list simple and easy to understand for new sign up clients, so we were able to provide the current 25,000 client with a 100,000 contact account right over the phone and they simply uploaded their additional contacts into their account.

The additional 50,000 contacts costs them more money to have in their account but email marketing is the lowest cost best (ROI) Return on Investment the client utilizes for their marketing budget so Mrs. Traveler conveyed they are very happy with the results they gain each month and felt the cost of adding additional contacts was more then worth the added cost.
