Ok you are a client of Viper Mailer
1 You are in your account, building your own email message utilizing one of our colorful professional templates.
2 You are adding your content into areas of this 8.5 inch x 11.0 inch online template, sometimes referred to as an email newsletter template.
3 Now you want to offer your recipients (customers) links to specific information on your company’s website.
4 While creating your content typing, or pasting it in to your template either way you need to use wording for the link you want to convey, not wording only a computer understands.


Example: Here is a typical landing page, the actual characters as the computer sees them: http://www.vipermailer.com/company/about_us.aspx and you might see, it shares who the link is Viper Mailer it says what it is a company but it this type of link is not attractive or effective.

Building this message as a link into your messages is easy and drives greater sales.
Here is how the editor (a Word Document type editor with extra features) within your Viper Mailer account works and how to achieve building the correct landing page links that are going to work.

While typing your messages in your email message template through the Viper Mailer editor you would produce it similar to how we did in the below example:

How to build a landing page link
In Viper Mailer through our ease of use Editor you are going to produce a landing page link in seconds.
Open a second window within your computer screen.
Go to the page you want to land your customers on at your website.
Place your mouse curser up in the top of the screen in the address bar click once.
It will turn blue.
Copy it, using the “Ctrl” and “c” keys on your keyboard.

Now your computer is holding onto this link you just took a copy of, we will be placing this link shortly but first, go back to the first screen on your computer, the Viper Mailer screen.
Left mouse click in front of the beginning word like in our example “learn more about our company” and hold the left mouse button down and run the curser across the words you want to become your link, they will become highlighted in black.
Now remove your mouse from the highlighted wording for your link and go to the top of the 3 rows of editing choices in the Viper Mailer Editor.
Top row about a third of the way over from the right there is a couple of chain links.
Place your mouse over the pair of links the description tag (ALT tag) will tell you it is named “Insert Hyperlink” click on it.
A sub window or popup will arrive on the screen.
Place your mouse curser in the box titled Url:
From your keyboard use the “Ctrl” and “v” keys.
The copy of your website landing page should be placed in Url box in the popup window now.
Look at it, be sure it looks correct and then select the “OK” button at the bottom of the popup window.

The popup window should disappear and you should notice the previously highlighted text from within your Viper Mailer Editor page is now showing an underscore and is the color blue.

The underscore and the blue color that appear in the message you are building in the editor represent that this is a link to a new page that your customers will recognize and want to click on when they see it while reading this email message. 

 
Testing the landing page link
Do not worry at this time if the link is going to work we have a way to test this when the email message or newsletter is nearing completion before going out to your list of email recipients.

If you follow our instructions and lead you will never be embarrassed by your email messages and their content being incorrect.

The wording utilized in the email message, this is the responsibility of the client, and the more informed the client is about getting the best results out of their email-marketing campaign the better served the client is going to be.

Credibility and trust with successfully getting an email message delivered into the recipients (your customers) email In Box begins with a recognized email address the words that best describe how your customers know you or your company.


The email “From” address
So you want a “From” email address like either .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) so that the recipient recognizes you right away.


The email “Subject Line”
The Subject Line around 35 characters or less should also explain who or what you are and not as much about your offer.

The reason is actually two:

One:
The use of words like FREE, Discount, Cheep or even Blue Pill will be captured and sent through the recipients SPAM filter usually never to be scene by the recipient and resulting in a waste of your email campaign efforts.

Two:
We want the recipient to recognize you and your brand right away to prevent your offer from just getting deleted while the customer is browsing through the emails in their In Box.


Informative offers
Be sure your message is offering things like, helpful for example: “did you know”, “educational instruction”, “latest release” that are of your customer’s interest and so on.
