The city was incorporated in January 1886.

Located about 30 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean and about 11 miles off of the 101 Freeway Calistoga was home to California’s first millionaire the beginning of a rich history for the California Coastal Region.

Welcome to the Northern California wine country and one of the homes to Logic’s favorite wines from the Sterling Vineyards however this city is home to one of the worlds most popular bottled waters named after this city the Calistoga Water Company.  Calistoga is also home to one of the three water geysers in California named Old Faithful Geyser see the geyser.
