Founded in 1878 when the San Pablo & Tulare Railroad came through the east of Contra Costa this city enjoys an agricultural feast as they have Harvest Season when the area produces corn and fresh fruit like peaches, apricots, plums, pluots and cherries oh Logic can taste them right now. This city is afforded breath taking mountain views of Mount Diablo (Devils Mountain).

Mayberry USA is what we see when it comes to Brentwood and this is in a positive way for the downtown the focus of our things to do along with the fresh fruit and vegetables grown in this city. Lets start with the downtown Brentwood project the chamber of commerce looks to be really involved with reviving the cities downtown as their web site points out (see chamber web site below). As well there is the city web site for Brentwood also talks of these plans so by 2010 we would want to visit the new downtown Brentwood.

There is the Brentwood Skate Park ok because the city has a heavy population and we are surprised to see this many paople living in the city of Brentwood.

The city of Brentwood has other parks and like all cities we write about have parks as well however given the amount of land to population ratio this city clearly has a large priority on parks and this is great with over 50 parks in a city with little over 11 square miles of area this is worth the mention as a standout a positive stand out for Brentwood.
