Some Interesting facts about Brea, California.
Logic was born and grew up one city away in Fullerton, California (ok interesting to me) however what we like most about Brea starts with the history of the oil and the oil derricks that remain in the Brea Canyon right off of Brea Canyon Road in the north end of the city.
The giant derricks are worth the visit as a kind of history of oil and in fact these were sold in the late 1800’s to a little known company named Union Oil Company better known today as Unocal or Union 76 you know the gas stations with the rotating orange 76 ball. Brea was home to Union Oil until it was sold to another oil giant later.
Things to do in and around Brea, California.
Here is a city where you the city has a great and large mall with fine dining surrounding the Brea Mall even a really nice hotel is near the mall with a really great themed restaurant named Tut’s and an Egyptian theme however over the past decade or longer the city has been working hard to transform the downtown where Brea Canyon Road crosses Imperial Highway all right off of the 57 Freeway and just up past the Brea Mall.
