Big Bear Lake though it looks very natural it is not it is a reservoir in San Bernardino Mountains held together by a dam holding back a nearly 7 mile length of water mostly 1 mile wide with a width peek of 2.5 miles and this lake is at its deepest point 72 feet deep.
