Great question. Use to be years ago that you just went out bought a domain name then sat back waited for a buyer and sold it for more then you bought it for. Those days are gone.
Then it used to be again a few years later that that you bought a domain name parked it with some advertising on it from a search engine like Yahoo, Google, or MSN (now Live.com) and received a check in the mail for each visitor to your parked page when that visitor then clicked on any advertisement on your web site.
Welcome to today, the game is becoming a closed community due to the power that a lot of online companies have built their empires into.

Our guess is that within the next 5 years if you have not entered the online world with one or more of these profiles like a web site, blog, or forum then you are going to end up with a presence that no one knows about, or people are going to be having a great difficult finding you.

Logic started out with a single web site just like we are hoping you will do. That was 15 years ago, then about 6 years later we added another web site it was our weather web site for Palm Springs here Palm Springs Weather then released 1 forum for Palm Springs, a year later we released 30 new web site, then another forum for beaches. All of this is what it is taking to build on our online presence.

We really realized a few years later that we should take some of our 2500+ domain names and develop them into something that will provide informative information as well as build some forums that allow visitors to interact with us and other visitors in areas of common interests. Just because something is now like a blog and we remember a lot of you got have this and you have got to do this Internet hyped ideas that have come and gone.
This is why Logic and Catnip did not start a blog in 2005 when they really got going. We launched our Blog in 2008 because we do not have the affordability to get into this and that to only see it fade away. Once Blogs were here to stay we built the Logic Talk blog.

If you decide to start a blog and there are a lot of free blog software out there, however Logic’s Blog is a purchased software because we are using this blog as a professional company and we needed control that might not effect your Internet project plan.

There are web sites devoted to selling your domain names later in life and these same selling places also offer to sell a forum, web site, or blog as a working product. This of course is after sometime has passed and you have applied a few years of effort into your site.
There is also the possibility that you just buy a domain name and the person looking for that name contacts you through the domain name registry records, and by the way we get people contacting us for a name or 2 each week. That is because we have a lot of domain names and we have some really good names.
