The Region is 2.
The County is Riverside.
The city has nearly 23,000 residents living in 24.2 square miles of area with an additional water area of 0.8 square miles.
The City was incorporated in July 1916.
The city is located in southern California.


Some Interesting facts about Blythe, California.
Blythe is located in the Palo Verde Valley inside the Sonoran Desert known as “The City of Outdoors” and is the desert hub while on your way to major city destinations but in our ventures we like to find what is special through exploring and discovery when we visit a California city regardless of the basic consensus about any location we visit. This city rests right on the California and Arizona boarder line and is rich in agriculture and because of its location tourism. Things to do in and around Blythe, California.
Visit the Colorado River with over 95 miles of action packed water enjoyment from boating to water skiing to personal water craft enjoyment andf the river has rentals if you are not lugging a water craft or boat along to this exciting water location

There is one wildlife preserves near Blythe.
Cibola National Wildlife Refuge is accessible from the California side of the Colorado River and features several backwater areas and several miles of historic river channels. The preserve is said to have over 240 species of birds that utilize this preserve as a refuge.

Because Blythe and you are located in the Colorado Desert which runs inside of the Sonoran Desert we are off to be rock hounds that is, right we are going to the location where the neatest rocks can be found and collected to cherish for ever. Maybe you would just like to see early indian artwork and feel the power of these petroglyphs carvings on rocks located about 50 west of Blythe a really great location to visit. There is nothing else around this location but it is really in touch with early American history and nature named the Corn Springs Petroglyphs.
