Visit the Colorado River with over 95 miles of action packed water enjoyment from boating to water skiing to personal water craft enjoyment andf the river has rentals if you are not lugging a water craft or boat along to this exciting water location
There is one wildlife preserves near Blythe.
Cibola National Wildlife Refuge is accessible from the California side of the Colorado River and features several backwater areas and several miles of historic river channels. The preserve is said to have over 240 species of birds that utilize this preserve as a refuge.

Maybe you would just like to see early indian artwork and feel the power of these petroglyphs carvings on rocks located about 50 west of Blythe a really great location to visit. There is nothing else around this location but it is really in touch with early American history and nature named the Corn Springs Petroglyphs.
