A President to be proud of Part 2 of 2

Machinist and President
Humble yet assertive President Luis Inaccio Lalu da Silva is a great leader as you read in Part 1 of this 2 Part series.

If you missed Part One of A President to be proud of here it is Leadership through a Machinist

No nation is perfect
Please make no mistake about this Brazil has challenges in their country similar to the issues America has but Mr. Lalu through being a machinist no doubt sees his countries challenges in a whole different light then most leaders of their nations.

Logical understanding
Logic is not here to bag on America’s President Barack Obama, there is more then enough of that trash talk going around, some deserved and some just because of the position Mr. Obama holds.

A look at Ford versus GM
What would President Lalu do in comparison to President Obama?
Your guess might be as good as mine but one thing for sure each leader would look into the two companies in a different way.

Qualified delegation through leaders
President Lalu would more then likely assign a person to each company, each man would have vast manufacturing knowledge, so they are aware of what they are looking at and can see truth from fantasy when shared information from these two auto giants.

Leader to Leader Assistance
What Logic believes President Lalu would have done on this subject is that America and our government should reward the best company with money, government contracts and the likes.

Incorrect actions
What our President Obama has done is send to each American the wrong idea, we should not be rewarding the failure of automobile manufacturer such as the case with GM but rather we should have rewarded the only US auto manufacturer that did not need or accept money to survive. The decision to reward the poorly ran company over the one that is running itself well is a really bad idea. We are sending the wrong message to the American people and we are in a sense penalizing the company that took the correct risks and is getting through the tough economic times by itself.

Best bang for the buck
Had the President of the United States let the GM Company fail and provided the money it had allocated to Ford Motor Company, this move more then likely would have lead to more jobs while showing the American people that good people that run a company well are rewarded for their efforts.

We also are under the understanding that Ford could be a greater and more profitable organization again and more then likely they are already or they will be, even though with the governments extra money they could have achieved this goal even faster.

Reward the good and repair our country sooner
There are more companies that deserve rewards for doing well, if our government wants to spend this newly minted money and truly fix our broken economy, this would be the fastest route a leader can and should take.

In addition America continues to help the failed companies, banks, investment firms, insurance and mortgage firms removing these business operators risk from any poor decision or high risks they wish to take on. This way of thinking is showing our youth that this is how to run a company today. This was and is a very sad state of affairs and Logic is personally embarrassed by this new way of thinking.

President Lalu has 3 qualities that Mr. Obama does not
This great leader has humbleness, he has the machinist focus, he has PASSION and more then likely there should be a forth ( I do not personally know) he listens more then he talks, always gaining new knowledge affording Mr. Lalu a greater database of information to better serve the citizens of his country with.

Our US President should be closer friends with President Lalu
As Logic wrote about in Part 1 it is who you associate with that you become.
