A President to be proud of Part 1 of 2

Machinists are leaders
Meet a leader anyone can love and who was told he could never lead a country.

Actually this is more then winning the Olympic bid for the 2016 games, it is far more important and it sends a message to us American’s that the basics of leadership are lost in America but are alive and well in other countries.

American friends this is a Lathe
Great Leaders are rare
Brazil has one of the greatest leaders a country can hope for and Logic is very proud of him and his accomplishments. A little secret about machinist they are smarter then you think, they never give up and they strive for perfection, they even listen to others thoughts.

Fundamentals of great leadership skills
Actually also this is a article about how machine shop workers are better leaders and as a career manufacturer for the aerospace industry there is more dilating and team work responsibilities required in manufacturing mentalities then in any other type of employment in the world.

Lives depend on the machinist manufacturer
Brazil has and Logic has done work for Embraer short and known on the street as Embraer, the company is actually named Empresa Brazileira de Areonautica, in English this stands for Brazilian Aeronautics Company, Inc.

Embraer employs just within the company over 17,000 people and it more then likely supports through contractors manufacturers nearer 500,000 people globally including the USA.

Mr. Lula’s background
Logic does not know if President Luiz Inacio Lalu da Silva comes from Embraer or from contractor of Embraer but it does not matter what matters is how clear the delegation and leadership displayed by this President of Brazil gets things done right and done on time and the first time.

Brazil and Embraer are great producers of twin engine turbo prop, private jets, and commercial aircraft serving the globe daily including near Logic right here in Palm Springs, California at our Palm Springs International Airport.

Logic does not know President Luiz Inacio Lalu da Silva though I bet we could talk about making machining things all day long or more, what Logic does know is that President Lalu used to be a machinist and he was a lathe operator.

Americans have been raised to think otherwise
When an American young person grows up they are taught that the machine operator, programmer and all other jobs from shoveling the machined chips off of the ground or maintaining these machines os a dirty environment and only uneducated persons do these jobs and over time America has all but removed manufacturing jobs from America to third world nations that are now growing and becoming stronger eventually then America.

Manufacturing and machining build America
We should and some companies in America are realizing that made in America can be a great thing though Logic is in no way encouraging one of the single biggest enemies to competition Unions are the death of America and to be sure the death of being competitive, wrong no an average person placing or inspecting bolts installed in an American car is paid near $91,000.00 dollars a year, this is not manufacturing this is just assembly (terrorism at that non competitive and a crime) never confuse the two manufacturers get angered when someone (though important and necessary) is the assembler marring two pieces of products together and then making the claim they are a manufacturer because they are not.

Back to looking at our leader
The United States of America has a man running the country Mr. Obama, that has never to our knowledge started or ran a company (plenty have not), does not understand a thing about how things are machined (we guess) and therefore has no understanding of how important these jobs and the pay scales are to America, or the understanding of the machinist code = PASSION.

President Barak Obama there is still time for you to change

This analogy is truly sad
If Mr. Obama needed to build a plane he could certainly talk about the plane but could not even participate (not his fault right) in the machining or manufacturing of the plane, in fact is Barack Obama has no real understanding (Logic wishes he did) of the feeling only a machinist can have when you work on a machine produce a perfected manufactured aircraft part and know that for near 30 years people are going to depend on the quality and strengths of that aircraft part.

Logic loves America and respects the President
I do not care for the capabilities of our leader, he only has Logic’s respect through being the countries leader but there is more to running the greatest nation on Earth then just getting elected and talking a lot.

President Luiz Inacio Lalu da Silva is a man who should become Barack Obama’s best friend; he can help our President understand some basic fundamentals that only a (hands on) machinist and manufacturer posseses.

The Machinist’s Code
There is not a better feeling in the world and President Lula knows what Logic is talking about it takes a team of smart educated persons to get together design then engineer then produce an airplane and delegating is a major part of getting the machined parts done on time and done right the first time. It takes hundreds of thousands parts and millions of hours of time devotion and communications to have an aero plane come together correctly and it all has to be right and it all has to fit before the plane can begin flying.

Thank you Mr. Lalu for proving to us all that you can come up through machining through manufacturing and prevail all the way to not only getting elected as a President but to display such passion (passion came from being a machinist) and your ability to be the great leader you are.  You deserve the Olympics you and your people wanted it more and for better reasons then the Americans the Olympic committee clearly seen your passion.

What else Logic is going to share about President Luiz Inacio Lalu da Silva and President Barak Obama in realization to understanding how to reward companies, companies that are also manufacturers, this will be a story about Ford and GM what a great leader more then likely understands and what to do in these cases to set precedence for Americans to remain true believers in our great nation, a nation we are proud of and we call home, America.
