California offers a little to a lot of everything for everyone

California Life and we want to share it
California is so big it is not only broken into just those two popular sections Southern California and Northern California.
California is actually broken down officially into 12 regions, but of course after further review Logic wants to say there are 13 regions this way we separate the islands off of the 1100 mile long west coastline of the state calling this the 13th region.

Over time we want to talk about all of our research region by region. We really want to talk about the less well known places and things to explore that are both of interest to visitors to our great state of California as well as to the residents that live here. These topics, many residents may not even be aware of exist and yet they are fun and entertaining.

Beach People meeting other Beach People
We do have a forum for the beaches of California California Beach Forum where you can discuss each beach, their activities, dining, things to do and see, and places to stay.
We also have the beginning of our city by city web site currently showing 28 of the beach communities offering the weather, some live web cams and local beach information and a view of these California beaches is available here California Beach Weather

California Region by Region
Yes California is a large state however that is not totally why it is broken down into our 13 regions. It is really home to such extreme differences in activities, climates, and life styles that it needed to be defined.
This is why we thought to add this blog to share while we are building the city by city web sites for all 58 counties and 478 cities within the state.

Because our California Weather Authority is a work in process main California directory web site for our cluster of cities as engineering releases them as well as adding features as they are developed we thought we should add California Factoids about unique activities and places here on our blog. The web sites are about everything each city offers and not just about the weather and the extended weather forecasts.

The California topics we will be sharing are located in these 13 regions: San Diego, Orange County, Inland Empire, Desert, Los Angeles, Central Coast, Central Valley, High Sierra, Bay Area, Gold Country, North Coast, Shasta Cascade, and our Islands.

About California’s Regions
Within the California regions and topics we will be discussing are of course the beaches where everyone wants to live, surfing, skim boarding, and boating, skate board parks, wet lands with our migrating birds, snow and skiing, snow boarding, mountains, mountain climbing, and hiking, massive deserts, sand dunes and plant life, (where Logic lives) agriculture and farming, wine country, history of the California gold rush, lakes and rivers with great fishing, untouched islands, forests like our massive sequoia trees, off road recreation, amusement parks, theme parks, entertainment the industry, movie stars, museums and design centers, a lot of state parks, nature tours, site seeing, scenic tours, gardens, wild life and animals, culture, lifestyle, architecture, high technology, manufacturing, and a whole lot more.
