Hi friends, Logic here to share another rare Disney collection piece.

Meet Logic
Last time I wrote about Disney was my article on the Disney Silver and Gold coins that were produced beginning in mid 1980’s, you can learn more about those rare coins from Rarities Mint in very limited production including the actual number of each Disney coin produced, it is a very educational article.

Disney Dollars
I am sharing about the Disney paper money, or rather cotton printed dollars.

We the folks at Viper Logic hold only two Disney bills, one is the $1.00 Disney Dollar and one $5.00 Disney Dollar, each worth the same amount of money as a US $1.00 and $5.00 Dollar.

Since their first release on September 09, 1987 Disney has since produced many other dollars, featuring various Disney characters and denominations.

Disney error released May 05, 1987
The only difference was the statement on each note reads: “May be used as legal tender only at Disneyland”, these notes were “series 1987”. The issue was these were both released for use at Disneyland Anaheim, California, and Disney World Orlando, Florida.

My Disney Notes are the corrected notes released September 10, 1987 (brass frame plaque) and on each note it reads “May be used as legal tender only at Disneyland and Disney World”.

Disney Dollars have since been produced each year since 1987 with the exception of the years 1992 and 2004. The series letters and the featured images on both the front and back of the bills has continued to change since the beginning launch in 1987.

Meet Logic’s Disney Dollars
Like I shared above, we only have one of each first release year framed in a wooden and are light blue green matted. These two Disney currency bills are special and yes they are perfect and flawless. Each bill was produced and immediately placed into the current beautiful framed holder. 

The set of bills are from the Anaheim Disneyland as these bills were released from each Disney Theme Park with the serial number that begins with the initial of the theme park it represents.

The serial number shares that these two matching serialized Disney Dollars were the 11754 bills produced.

Think about this factoid:
Nearly 120 Million people visit the Walt Disney Theme parks around the world annually.

This means that the ability to own the 11754 set of proof never circulated original Disney Dollars since their release in 1987 shares with us, that nearly 2 Billion people could be interested in owning these rare Disney low serialized first release “A” series bill note set. The $10.00 Dollar did not arrive to the public until 1990 and that was followed by the $50.00 Dollar note in 2005.

The lower a serial number is the more in demand they are. The tougher thing is that these are the first year of issue 1987 and that makes these bills special in two ways.
The first way is that during the early times for the Disney currency they were produced in the highest of quality using real feeling 100% cotton, thus the real money feeling.
The second way is that following the serial number there is a series letter, in this case it is also an “A” representing the first printing release. Series 1987 A.

Disney Dollars security features:
Like the US Currencies produced the Disney notes have anti-counterfeiting security features such as micro printing, hard to scan/copy reflective ink and imprinting on the front and back of each note. The notes each are printed with an individual serialized number and letters that are unique to each note. The Disney Dollars also have glitter sprinkled on them, fary dust?

Having the lower serial number first issue Disney notes with matching serial numbers is like having the first US Dollar ever printed, and having that bill in mint condition.

These two Disney notes are viewable through both sides of the light toned frame making the presentation very desirable for sharing and too collectors at large.

Low serial numbers are important but so too is the condition of the notes and these two are perfect, flawless and never touched by human hands.

The number of visitors to the many Disney Theme Parks globally, each and every year, each with many fans and loyalists that creates fanamania growth year after year, really makes these types of rare collectable Disney memorable products much more desirable. There are far more fans of Disney then there are first release Disney Dollars, and even rarer is the matched serial numbers of both bills from the first release makes these nearly non-replaceable.
